Another Successful Day at the Shotts and Dykehead Junior Piping and Drumming Championships 2016

The Shotts and Dykehead Junior Piping and Drumming Championships took place on Saturday 3^rd December 2016 and Asset Guardian were once again proud to be supporting the talented youngsters for another year.

The competition, which is now its third year, attracted a large amount of competitors to the North Lanarkshire event, with several categories ranging from Chanter, Piping, Stick and Pad, Snare and Tenor.

The event was judged by Scotland’s top adjudicators who are also successful adult solo competitors. Due to the success of the competition in the last two years, competitors travelled from as far away as Canada. The competition is a great reflection of how Shotts and Dykehead Caledonia Pipe Band give back to the community by supporting youngsters within the pipe band community.
